Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly-growing digital agency at the ground level. Beacon Digital Marketing (BDM) is looking for someone who thrives in flexible environments, can work remotely to manage projects and deliverables, and is interested in pitching-in to establish a fun company culture and shape the growth of an exciting new business.

The Sr. Manager, Marketing & Sales Operations will act in several capacities to represent Beacon Digital Marketing:

  • Manage CRM and Marketing Automation deliverables for agency clients, working in close coordination with our Director of Automation and martech consultants. 
  • Lead full implementations of HubSpot and migrations to HubSpot from Marketo, Pardot, Salesforce, Act-On and other systems. Some tasks may involve troubleshooting existing implementations, including updating property settings, and syncing with Salesforce CRM data.
  • Conduct on-going management & optimization for client portals, including proactive review as well as completion or delegation of one-off requests. Troubleshoot or field inquiries directly from clients related to their marketing automation tools or CRM system. Advise clients on best practices setting up marketing and sales ops tools.
  • Assist content team with critical client projects such as content migration to/from Wordpress and Hubspot CMS as needed. 
  • Work closely with the website development team to ensure all forms, workflows, and other critical automation is in place and strategically optimized for website launches and redesigns. 
  • Implement forms and ensure proper routing of leads, that redirects from forms work properly and other features from Pardot or HubSpot are well integrated with the client’s website experience.
  • Communicate on client calls including leading trainings, presenting strategic deliverables, and troubleshooting.
  • Work with our Director of Automation to formalize processes, product/service descriptions, and other key areas of department management. 

Our clients are primarily sophisticated B2B companies offering complex services and products to senior leaders in enterprise companies, including cyber security, fintech, human resource solutions, and technical software platforms. Therefore our team members must be comfortable interacting with C-level executives and speaking and writing to an educated corporate buyer.

This is a full-time position with working hours of 9am-6pm EST, but may require occasional nights and weekends for specific clients. There is significant room for professional growth in this role over the next two to three years.

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in an agency setting
  • Highly detail-oriented with experience in marketing automation and/or marketing operations & technology. 
  • 2+ years of experience within the Hubspot platform, including certification on the Hubspot Sales Software and Marketing Software, and advanced certifications also appreciated. 
  • Preferred Marketing Automation Experience: 
    • In addition to Hubspot, in-depth experience and/or certification on other marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua, and/or SharpSpring.
    • Experience integration and managing integrations between marketing automation and Salesforce as well as other CRM platforms. 
    • Working knowledge of Salesforce as well as other CRM platforms and how they integrate with marketing automation platforms. 
    • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
    • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement
