If you live and breathe digital marketing, we want to talk to you. We are looking for a Senior Marketing Strategist to create, implement, track and optimize digital marketing campaigns for our clients across all digital channels. 

This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly-growing digital agency at the ground level. Beacon Digital Marketing (BDM) is looking for someone who thrives in flexible environments, can work remotely to manage projects and deliverables, and is interested in pitching-in to establish a fun company culture and shape the growth of an exciting new business. In addition to client facing work, the Senior Marketing Strategist will also be part of the senior leadership team of the company, helping to shape the future of Beacon Digital.

Our clients are primarily sophisticated B2B companies offering complex services and products to senior leaders in enterprise companies, including cyber security, human resource solutions, and technical software platforms. Therefore our Sr. Marketing Strategist should be comfortable interacting with C-level executives and speaking and writing to an educated corporate buyer.

  • Interface directly with clients with considerable responsibility for managing budgets and deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as the lead marketing strategist for your clients. This includes conducting GAP analyses, inbound assessments, persona guides and buyer journey maps, and identifying new tactics to drive better results.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors. Understand the business of your clients as well as they do (sometimes better!)
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the BDM team to produce persuasive product pitches for BDM’s services and scope client proposals to ensure successful, on-budget execution. This is both for new and existing clients.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of our work in monthly/quarterly strategy meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics on monthly client calls. Measure and report performance of client digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify and grow opportunities within customer base and collaborate with other team members to ensure growth attainment. Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies with clients on a regular basis.
  • Directly oversee and mentor Project Managers assigned to your accounts.
  • Continually improve our client onboarding processes and find ways to improve the process of delivering our services. 
  • Write creative briefs and project briefs to summarize key objects and tactics for projects to get client sign off and communicate clearly with our internal team.
  • Ensure client expectations are exceeded!

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in an agency setting managing B2B accounts.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords, Facebook, and Linkedin campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Experience with email marketing technologies and best practices, such as Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, Eloqua, and integrations with Salesforce and other CRM tools.
  • HubSpot or Marketo Certifications are a huge plus!
  • Strong preference for knowledge of HubSpot and implementation of HubSpot.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS is strongly desired.
