The Conference for Cybersecurity Marketers

We're excited to be a sponsor of the first in-person Cyber Marketing Con 2022! This is a must-attend event for marketers in the cybersecurity industry filled with presentations from practitioners and lots of great networking opportunities. Join us, along with event organizers Gianna Whitver and Maria Valasquez of the Cyber Security Marketing Society, on Nov 16-18 in Arlington, VA and book a time to meet with us!

Fill out the form on this page to chat with us prior or schedule some time to meet at the conference (we also have discount codes!).

Take home modern marketing strategy & tactics specific to cyber security.

Too many conferences that cybersecurity marketers attend contain generalized guidance and guidelines that work in other industries but are irrelevant to cybersecurity companies. With our unique, crowded, and technical market and buyers, we need a conference just for us.

  • More than just presentations – CyberMarketingCon2022 will include amazing panels, presentations, and keynotes – but also will have networking events, speed mentorship, live podcast recordings, and more!

  • Learn from real cybersecurity marketers – Real marketers from real cybersecurity companies will share their strategies, tactics, and ROI.

  • Meet and build relationships with peer mentors & partners – Meet and network with your peer marketers, grow your relationships and find peer mentors, and find new co-marketing and tech alliances partners!

Beacon Digital Team at Cyber Marketing Con 2022

WHITNEY PARKER MITCHELL, ceo + founder
whitney

Whitney is a natural leader with a knack for creating something out of nothing. She’s held senior marketing leadership roles at Kroll, Cycling Sports Group, and Brazen Technologies where she’s launched dozens of products and services, recruited and mentored teams, built and managed tech stacks, and developed the mission, vision, brand identity and lead gen programs from the ground up.

Whitney hails from the land of blue turf as a Boise State University alumna, and has earned an MBA and Master’s in International Relations from Syracuse University.

Growing a multi-million dollar consulting agency like Beacon Digital from one to 50+ requires persistent focus and a positive mindset. Whitney loves to bring joy to others’ lives through a team culture that includes the occasional home-baked goods and office dogs like her own mini-Aussie, Huckleberry. Whitney’s experience doing literally every job Beacon offers, from graphic designer to operations to web developer means she’s not afraid to roll up her sleeves and dig in when it comes to helping Beacon’s clients build the future of business.

MEGAN DUNNE, VP, SERVICES
Untitled design (31)

Megan joined Beacon Digital in 2017 with an official title of Account and Content Manager, which really meant she did whatever needed to be done to keep a three-person marketing shop going. She learned a lot, eventually setting her sights on building a well-oiled creative department capable of cranking out anything composed of words and design, and committed to making it good.

Four years, 160 clients, countless campaigns, and a triple-threat team of content, creative, and production all-stars later, she left the walls of her beloved creative department to think big picture. Now, she spends her days putting plans into action in an effort to scale services, improve workflows, foster team growth, and bring teams together.

Pre-Beacon (wait, there was life before Beacon?), Megan came up in the advertising world at VaynerMedia. She brings a passion for creative thinking, problem-solving, and to rip off her old boss Gary Vee, marketing for the age we live in to the Beacon team, setting standards for quality she developed as a copywriter for global brands like General Electric, Spotify, Coach, and Nature’s Bounty.

Her love of reading is prized around Beacon Digital Marketing, where team members often turn to Nicole for her proofreading prowess. Nicole brings a background in journalism, public relations, and marketing on the agency and publisher sides. She’s a graduate of Wheaton College with a B.A. in Communications and Media Studies. With a bachelor’s in English with a concentration in Professional Writing from SUNY Oneonta and extensive career experience in web and marketing, Caitlin’s educational and professional background creates the perfect blend for her work at Beacon Digital.

When she’s not writing, she’s reading copious amounts of speculative fiction, consuming equally copious amounts of coffee, and exploring her beloved Hudson Valley.
